From Consultation to Recovery
Our clinic philosophy is rooted strongly in education; we strive to ensure you are well-informed, prepared, and confident as you embark on this journey with us. With that in mind, we have prepared this guide to illuminate the surgical process from your first consultation all the way to long-term care.
2. Booking Your Surgical Procedure
Typically, surgery can be booked within three to six months. We do our best to work within your desired timeframe.
Once your surgery date is confirmed, you will be sent a comprehensive booking information package. It is very important to read through this information in its entirety in preparation for surgery. Note that once your surgical date has been secured, any changes such as rescheduling or cancellation are subject to financial penalty.
3. Preparing for Surgery
A pre-operative visit with your family doctor will be required for a history and physical exam. Your doctor will complete the history form and fax it to our office. This needs to be completed no later than six weeks prior to surgery.
Approximately 3-4 weeks prior to your surgery, our pre-admission nurse will contact you with instructions for surgery and your admission time. We will provide you with a checklist to help you prepare and organize yourself for surgery.
6. Long Term Care
Our surgeons see all surgical patients for long term follow up appointments as needed. Post-operative photographs will be taken at this time and you’ll be able to look back on your transformative results.
We strongly welcome feedback about your experience with us, so we can continue to provide the best quality of care.
It is a pleasure being involved in your surgical journey.
When you’re ready to book a consultation or discuss our services further, we welcome you to reach out by phone or email. Please note that a fee of $150 is due at the time of consultation booking.
